Maps for Tom the elf

Date: 8th Dec 2016 @ 12:36am

Today we arrived in the class and Tom had left us another message on the whiteboard. He thanked us for the time he has spent with us at school. He explained how he uses a map to find our school on his return from the North Pole and he said it would help Santa if we drew a map to find our house. We talked about the different uses for maps and Mrs Tomlinson showed the children how to draw a map and label it. In choosing time lots of children chose to draw their own map too. Their maps had lots of information! We were all very pleased with the effort that the children put into them. I'm sure that they will be very important to Santa to guide him on Christmas Eve!!
