Sea of Dreams Exhibit - Imogen Y6

Date: 19th May 2017 @ 11:42am

Dear Parents/Carers,

We invite you to attend our Sea Of Dreams exhibit this afternoon, in the school hall at 2:30pm.

This term, the whole school, including reception, have been focusing on a very exclusive book called the Sea Of Dreams. This book is very unique because it has pictures that allow the reader to create what happens in it and makes it more exciting (There are no wrong answers as well!) The children have thoroughly enjoyed this topic, therefore we have decided to put on an exhibit so you can come and join the fun!

We have been doing lots of exciting work and fun projects on this amazing book. Some include: character descriptions of a mysterious seagull, beach themed artwork, scene descriptions and many more fascinating surprises!

The Sea Of Dreams book is about a little girl who one day decides to build a sandcastle but when she goes back home, to have dinner, something truly spectacular starts to happen. The sandcastle is not just any old sandcastle; it is also a home to a family of mystical creatures! They go on a thrilling adventure under the sea. Along this adventure, they encounter some magical mermaids and many other mythical creatures. This is an adventure they would never forget!

You should absolutely be sure to attend this exhibit. If you come, you will see the outstanding progress of your child/children across the topic. The artwork will be presented in the school hall and in all classrooms! It will be an opportunity to see your child/children’s work and what they do at school.

We do so hope you will be able to attend.

Yours sincerely,

Imogen Bond and the rest of St. Oswald’s.
